Christmas Party

Batch 1..our scheduled major major Christmas Party will be on December 18, 2010 tentatively set to be held at Caliraya Resort @ Laguna. Check-In time is at 2:00PM but according to the sales, we can go there as early as we want then avail of the swimming pool, and other amenities that included in our package, coz the check-in time is for the room only...
I had already inquired with Caliraya and they have this package at P1,500/pax inclusive of full-buffet meal - - so we need not worry for any food to bring..we will just bring ourselves..but minimum is 10 pax (around P15,000 inclusive of all taxes, charges) - - so mura na rin po ito...as in nett na po sya..
We will also have our exchange gifts - - minimum of P250.00. Kindly bring gifts for added fun...
So our next problem (kung problem man ito) ay ang sasakyan (paging daddy jossel...). I already posted this on our FB, unfortunately, wala pang nare-received na suggestions, objections, multiplications, divisions...or whatsoever..?!hayyy parang ako lang ang hindi busy..tsk..

Just a thought - - seems that the longer we do this monthly regular get-together, the longer and more chikas there is(are?)..grabe, last time we had this meeting (Nov 19) we were until 5AM the next day...eh kumusta naman kagabi (Dec 3)? sinalubong na natin ang birthday ni lola ngayon (Dec 4)..hihihi at take note...this photo was taken Dec 4, 2010 around 6:30AM..saan ka pa..eh nagkape pa tayo (kopiko) after...eh anong oras na nga ba tayo naka uwi..so regular na nga ung meeting eh parang kulang pa rin ang 24hours...hayyyy...dami pwd pagkuwentuhan..dami lagi topics...parang di nauubos..di pa tayo kumpleto nyan..i wonder pano kung makumpleto pa kaya? siguro mga one week pwede nah..

hello. wow seeing all of you brings back a surge of memories - our mini-escapades and alang katapusang wentuhan :D m jealous in a way but at the same time, m genuinely happy to see all of you still in touch with each other. glad to know everyone is in good health and doing well.

sensya po - did not have any intention of hiding. e hindi po totoo na ako ay nasa isang maximum security prison. matagal na po akong nakalaya. :D after MRTC, several trainings from where i used to work (HP) and there, i got to be assigned to different projects in different provinces too. i event spent almost 2years in Mindanao, thats why sort of got out of the loop. gustuhin ko man pong sumali sa inyong mga gimmik ngayon e medyo i might have to ask Superman's help so i can fly there fast. :D i was fortunate to move here to the US (California) 12years ago. nasa IT pa rin po ang racket ko! :D i have a son, EJ and he is 15years old now and is a sophomore in a Christian school here in San Jose, CA. he is a consistent honor student and m a proud mom. yep, iisa lang po ang aking anak dahil isa lang po ang kaya kong buhayin. and me, got married also 8years ago, his name is Jacob and yeah, he is American, actually he is a mix breed (hehe) part German, Dutch, ek. we worked in the same company some 10years ago. i can see some eyes twitching - mahabang wento. i went back to the Philippines twice - both in 2007. first, for a 2-1/2 week vacation in January and then, around May, flew back back again because my Dad passed away.

my life here evolves around schedule. dalawa lang po kasi kami ng opismeyt ko na palitan ng oncall. and yep, get oncall 24/7. recently said opismeyt went on sabbatical for 1month, was oncall for 1month. well, i looked like a zombie after that. yeah, my work here is creepy crazy, but i have learned to live with it. when m not oncall, and i know i need a timeout, on a weekend, i drive along Highway-1 - thats the Costal side of California. kahit akong mag-isa lang. i do this before the feeling of chocking somebody overpowers my mental state. lol.

lots of changes and challenges that i've been through (still does) the years of living here. made lots of good and bad decisions, lots of lessons learned, some in a very painful way. but through it all - our God is faithful. i have a lot of gratitude. m truly blessed. i also gained new friends here too. some Pinoy friends. we still continue to gather and enjoy Pinoy foods specially pag may kainan. oh, where i used to live, was near Jollibee. so pag tamaritis magluto, tamang Jollibee or Chowking ang pagkain. here in our area, daming Pinoy kainan. every Sunday, after Church, my son and i would eat fishball, siopao, gulaman, lugaw, turon at kung ano-ano pa. tsalap. hehehe. Jacob eats Fiipino foods pero ayaw ng sinigang (abnormal talaga), dinuguan at anything with bagoong. pag kumain ako ng may bagoong, ayaw akong lapitan! was teasing him nga na umuwi na lang kami ng Pinas at mag-artista na lang siya para yumaman na kami e ayaw, suplado. kainis. di pa nga sikat, snobbish na!

Boss Ronald - congratulations on your moving to Edmonton. may madadalaw na pala ako dyan. lol. alam ko favorite mo ko nong araw - favorite mo kong sapakin sa sobrang kakulitan ko! lol.

Ms. Admin re: about ur Hermes dream. when we were in Waikiki (Oahu), we passed by through some high-end brand shops and there - the Hermes Store. we saw one wallet - a very small one - cost $10K lang naman. hahaha, we cannot stop laughing just thinking kung may bibili non. hehehehe. naloka ako sa presyo.

m really happy to see all of you. sige po pag ako po ay nakapag-bakasyong muli sa ating inang bayan, eh treat ko kayong lahat - dinner at may kasama pang kapeng barako.

Mga totoy at nene pa tayo non (hanggang sa ngayon naman eh - - he he - para lang tayong tumanda ng 2 taon)..Happy 20th Anniversary sa atin..sana wag na nating buwagin ang nabuo natin after how many years na lumipas...akalain nyo, more than a year na din tayong nagkabalikan? (naks parang nagbreak lang ah?) naalala pa ba natin yung muli nating pagtatagpo after 19years? sa Fridays Glorietta? March 2009? Si Lolo Peter, Tatay Vher, Lolo Jossel, Tatay Sydric, Lolo Edmond, Sexy Connie, Gorgeous MeAnne, Beautiful Ghay...tayo tayo...then parami ng parami ulet - - ang saya saya!!

Today - Sorry friends and countrymen, I was not able to follow up everyone and push through with our anniversary celebration...Sobrang busy ng lola nyo..as in today lang ako nakahinga ng maayos..na coma ako the past few days - - he hehe..

Mga kapatid ko sa MRTC, ako ay nangangampanya na sana wag natin buwagin ang samahan na naumpisahan na natin. Kahit dito na lang tayo sa office magkikita once a month or once in every three months kung talagang busy kayo para hindi na tayo gumastos.

Busy po tayo sa mga panahong ito, alam ko...sa mga accountants diyan, naiintindihan ko kayo, target April 15, di po ba? harasssss...e ako, FY hindi calendar (accountants understand this), pero busy pa din ako, kasi end of quarter eh (palusot lang yata, tsk tsk)..
Di ko po alam kelan ang date natin this month, medyo hindi ko ma-calculate sked ko...may issue kasi ako sa BIR (shhhhhhh, secret lang to ha?!)dami kelangan gawin (hmp! bakit kasi may BIR pa eh...grrrrr!)
Anyways, suggest na lang po kayo, what, when en where..pwd nman ako, kasi gabi naman usually, di po ba? e 4pm pa lang close na BIR :)

Facebook excommunicates WORM because of the Web2.0 Suicide Machine

The initiative to build the Web 2.0 Suicide Machine came from Moddr_, WORM’s media lab. By threatening WORM, Facebook is trying to take down the Suicide Machine.

The Web 2.0 Suicide Machine allows users of - among others - Facebook to commit ‘social network suicide’. Facebook threatens WORM with further legal action if WORM doesn’t stop targeting the FaceBook platform via the SuicideMachine. In addition, it has now also demanded that WORM immediately deletes its own Facebook profile (WORM_Rotterdam). According to Facebook and its lawyer, the Web 2.0 Suicide Machine has violated Facebook’s Terms of Service and with that WORM has forfeited it’s right to keep using the platform. WORM does not want to engage in a fight over this matter with Facebook. The idea behind the Web 2.0 Suicide Machine was to be able to ‘unfriend’ in an automated fashion and to make users of social networks aware that they should always be in control of their own data. Facebook won’t allow for this control and is also not willing to enter into this debate. We are pretty much done with that and are left with no other choice than to commit online suicide ourselves. The conditions and attitude of Facebook leave no other option as far as WORM is concerned.

WORM deeply regrets the current situation. The web 2.0 Suicide Machine was never intended to target Facebook as such, but meant as a tool for people who, for whatever reason, are tired of their online life. Facebook wants all access to their service, personal data of their users included, to run via their own ‘connect’ platform. In this way, Facebook can set, interpret and change its own rules as it sees fit...

The excommunication of WORM illustrates that data freedom and net neutrality of users is merely an illusion on many social network sites. Not only is it not allowed for people to unfriend (in an automated manner), but companies also have the power to expel users they do not like. Facebook shows that a user only has the rights that Facebook grants it.

Facebook claims all rights. WORM does not want to continue living in this 2.0 world. Which is why we say goodbye to all our friends. We wish you all the best.

Overcoming our Struggles.....

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.

Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. Our Struggles in our family, in our personal lives, in our job, in our relationship…..is part of God’s way to make us a better personal, it is all depend on how you handled it. If we would not be as strong as what we could have been, then we could never fly!

Nagyaya namana sa funline sa may pasay.. tawa kami ng tawa sa mga standup comedian don, d masydo kilala pero okey na rin. Friday kami nga celebrate ng valentines day kasi u know may pasok me pag sunday.... pagod nga me kanina sa site..buti nga lang naka quota ako sulit ang pagod...awarded as Top Group Head nanaman ang lola nyo.... thanks to my sellers marami pa rin silang nabobolang buyers... este nabebentahan pala.

Valentine's Day Concert - Richard Poon

since wla pa si admin e ako na lng muna mag-post. my friend invited me last night Feb 10, Richard Poon concert sa Meralco Theather. wla akong idea kung sino si richard poon, pero bago magpunta i checked on Google and learned that he is a Filipino-Taiwanese singer with a Taiwanese singer mom. haayy iba na talaga ang tumatanda di nakakakilala ng bagong singers, actress etc. ramdam ko na talaga ang naramdaman ng mga magulang ko nun hehehe. mayron din pla sya stint sa ASAP at Eastwood Central Plaza every tuesday, 9 p.m. nag-promote ba. hehehe, bka gusto nyo lang.

nun nsa concert na kami, na-impressed ako sa boses at dahil old songs ang mga ito, 50's 60's 70's and 80's pero 27 years old pa lang itong singer na ito. wla akong masabi so powerful voice, good performer. di sayang ang binayad ng kaibigan ko, we left with a smile on our face. wla man akong valentine's date nakanood nmn ako ng valentine's concert. defense mechanism hehehe..

this is coincidence again, nandun si don jaime zobel de ayala and wife nun nanood kami ng ms. saigon nandun din sila hayyy parang gusto ko na tuloy maniwala kay maia na Vicky Sumaria-Ayala ako hahaha.

sa may mga asawa or dun sa couple pa lng just piece of advice, kung di nyo madala sa valentine's concert ang asawa nyo or gf nyo e kayo na lang kumanta ng love songs with tuba este wine, balut o chicharon bulaklak on the table, ito pinakamura na selebrasyon, ihanda mo lang ang loob mo baka mamura ka pagkatapos hehehe. pwd din ipasyal mo sa lugar na hindi nyo pa napapasyalan or magluto ka ng putahe na di nya pa natitikman, sarapan mo lang dahil kung hindi lagot ka. or anything na cheaper pero with todo effort kung wla kang pera, haranahin mo, kantahan mo ng dungawin mo sa bintana. hehehe .. seriously whatever basta nag-effort ka this valentine's day sigurado maka-points ka sa kanya ..

Mag umpisa muna tayo kagabi, kasi sobrang inis ko on my way home...as in!
I travelled 3 hours just to get home last night..and why? nasa Imus po, as in sa bayan mismo sina Gordon/Bayani tandem at nagka campaign. at ang traffic start at may marina, sa coastal hanggang Dasma na...as in...buti na lang hindi ko sila boboto.....grrrrrrr!

Anyway, today, I arrived 7:45AM dito sa office, quite late than my usual time-in of 6:45~7:00AM - -Siguro kasi, medyo rainy ngayong umaga, and as usual knowing Coastal Road?! tsk tsk...sumisikip lalo na pag umuulan ;)

Sa mga accountant, deadline po sa BIR ng filing/payment today ng 1601C, 1600, 1601E, 1601F..sa mga hindi accountant..bahala kayo sa buhay niyo, kung di nyo naiintindihan ;)
so today, medyo magbibisi-bisihan ako (kunwari accountant - - ha ha)..

ayan may bago post today...may mababasa na kayo...wish ko sana mag post din sina James o si Edmundo...ano kaya ang magiging topic?! he he

Monthly Gathering

Sa next Friday, January 29, 2010 na po ang ating regular monthly get-together...maganda na rin po itong date na ito, unang una, sweldo ng mga karamihan diyan.....yes! yes! - - kasi ako, di ko sweldo :(
Venue will be around Makati, medyo natagalan nga po itong posting ko, kasi until now, naghahanap pa din ako ng venue dito sa Makati, e since hindi naman ako gala, wala akong alam na maganda ng place - - e mura pa!! sa SM Foodcourt na lang kaya? :)
Suggestion ni Jossel e sa Rockwell - - mukhang pang sosyal yata dun a?!
Any suggestions? yung mga taga-Makati diyan?o kung gusto natin, sa may Megamall area? para malapit sa office ni Veron, para naman maka-attend din sya, alam ko may foodcourt sa Shangri-La, dun na lang kaya?
Basta ang date na ito ay FIXED na, venue na lang ang ipa-finalize...

Notes:
1. Mr. President - pinasasabi po ni Ginoong Edmundo Hilado, baka daw gusto mo yung dinner na lang ang sagot mo? ;) kung ayaw mo daw burahin niya lahat ng contributions mo sa SSS (hala ka!) at sya na lang daw sasagot sa coffee after dinner (at take note, sa Mandarin daw nya tayo pagkakapehin....)
2. Connie - don't forget the digicam....

1st meeting of 2010

Let's schedule na po ung meeting natin for January 2010, siguro by next month na natin puntahan si Lourdes, kasi definitely po, ay weekend dapat ang schedule pagpunta doon, e fully booked na po ang weekend ng Administrator this January 2010, si Jossel 2 Saturdays na naka blocked, although pinag aaralan pa din natin kung pwede ang Sunday (kasi normally, this is our Family Day) - - and since medyo mid-January na, baka hindi na natin mai-habol pa....

So, let's just schedule our monthly gathering thru the usual dinner, coffee....Ano po ba gusto niyo? Wednesday? o Friday? Tentatively let's set on January 27 (Wed) or January 29 (Fri) - - any suggestions sa Venue? kung ako, syempre preferrably Makati area, pero kung majority decision, kahit saan po pwede at OK !! This will also serve as our welcome to our dear Batch 1 President, Mr. Seneres ;-) - - sagot na po niya ung coffee after dinner. . .

Sana po, marami-rami tayo, kasi nada-dagdagan naman tayo (in fairness)....

Kung 2 connection mo, isang lan and isang wifi, kaya ndi gumagana kasi parehas may gateway yong connection ng lan and wifi, ndi alam ng pc kung san papadaanin yong traffic papunta ng internet. Kung may rights ka na mag bago ng routing table ng PC mo, ang dapat mo gawin, taggalan mo ng gateway yong wifi, para lahat ng traffic papasok pa rin sa VPN nyo, pero lahat ng traffic papunta ng www.blogger.com (74.125.153.191) yon lang pa route mo papunta sa wifi link mo.

eto details:

1. open ka ng command prompt, tapos type mo to:
ipconfig /all
---> take note mo yong gateway addres ng lan and gateway address ng wifi

2. Para tanggalin yong gateway ng wifi and lan eto yong command.
route delete 0.0.0.0
tapos soli mo yong gateway ng lan
route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0

3. dagdag mo yong route papunta ng www.blogger.com para dumaan sa wifi and ndi sa lan
route add 74.125.153.191 mask 255.255.255.255


pag na setup mo yan, kahit naka lan and naka wifi ka sabay, access mo lahat ng internal system ng office mo via lan.. tapos yong traffic ng www.blogger.com sa wifi daraan...

Sorry, late ako naka post kasi may sakit bunso ko. 3 na kids ko (Carlos is 15, Patricia is 13 and Andrea is 9). Nagkatuluyan kami ni Arlene, yong nililigawan ko ng MRTC days natin (buti naman ang hanggang ngayon eh pinagtyatyagaan pa nya ko hehehehee).

Nasa abroad na pala si sir.

Marami na nagbago sa appearance natin, pero Compact '90 pa rin....

Nagtext po si James, (although nakalimutan ko kung kelan - - Saturday, Jan 2, yata?!) and inform that Mr. Allan Lucena was with him that time and was willing to meet with us (siguro nagtext din sa iba sa inyo)...Unfortunately, James, alam mo naman na tayong mga pamilyadong tao e hindi basta basta nakakapag schedule ng agad agad, and sorry also for not replying (kasi sobrang late ko na nabasa - - nonsense kung mag reply pa). Sayang po talaga, pero pasensya na din po, at hindi po tayo pwede basta basta gumawa ng agenda (I just dont know kung may nakapag meet with them?!) Next time na lang po Mr. Jeremias and Mr. Lucena - - - there will always be next time..
Anyhow, nakuha naman yata ni James yung CP# ni Allan (unfortunately uli, na -erase ko - - hu hu - - ano ba tong klaseng Administrator?! tsk tsk - - di man lang nilista, hmp!) - - we can always communicate with him if we want to.....James, paki text na lang po uli yung number niya, kung andyan pa sa iyo <(_ _)>

Ang Resolution po ay hindi ginagawa tuwing New Year lang, dapat kung alam natin na mayroon tayong dapat baguhin, hindi na natin hintayin pa ang January 1, baguhin na agad, - - wala lang naisip ko lang, wala akong ma-i-post e..tama naman di po ba?
